Location

Mooring "Pesja" is located in the aquatorium of the Pesja bay in Omišalj bay, on the coast of the island of Krk, which forms the eastern coast of Rijeka bay. The port is approached by Vela Vrata, the main channel, which connects Kvarner Bay with the Bay of Rijeka.

Pesja bay, which is part of Omišalj coast, is located between the peninsula Mulic and the existing pier and peninsula Pesja. The advantage of this location is its position in the inner part of Omišalj bay, which is protected from waves, considering the configuration of the terrain of the whole bay. Existing buildings fit into the natural harmony of the area, and excellent traffic connections (by sea, land and air - proximity of Rijeka airport) enable management of international trade business, custom business, and all necessary boat spare parts supply, and also food products supply for special purposes for sailors.

Today small port Pesja has 200 commercial berths (84 in the docks, 50 along the breakwater and 66 in the anchorage) and 100 fishing berths. In Njivice there are 12 berths along the breakwater and 70 berths in the anchorage in front of the campsite Njivice.
